2023 ISA WORLD JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS
RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL

In November 2023, I was one of three U16s girls chosen to represent England at the ISA World Junior Surfing Championships in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. It was genuinely the best experience of my life so far. I caught some great waves both in and out of my heats, which was my main goal for the trip. My team as a whole did amazingly well and England ended up coming 14th out of 45 countries which is pretty crazy considering most people don't even think there are waves in England. My surfing level definitely improved while being out in Brazil and I'll never forget this trip and the memories I made from it, including getting the best wave of my life at a beach near Macumba!
